Reporting In the Protos Web App - New Functionality

Press Blog

Functionality, usability, and accessibility have been core priorities for the Protos System from day one. For that reason, the Protos team has been in the process of migrating all instances of our service to a fully web-based application - totally un-reliant on any operating system, app store, or other restrictive paradigm. All you need to start reviewing real-time data in Protos is an internet connection and a device with a web browser. That’s it. On the spot, you’ve got everything at your fingertips.

In addition to centralizing access to our service, we’re also giving users easy access to every report type they may need right from the main dashboard of the app. You’ll never have to dig through complicated menus or settings to get the information you need. Just click the “Reports” tab in the Protos dashboard and choose between the three major report types.

KPI Reports

KPIs are at the core of your overall strategy. After all, if you can’t specify and measure key metrics to evaluate your work, success becomes an ever-changing, unattainable goal. KPIs help you benchmark performance, measure progress, and define success. And now you can see them with just two clicks in the Protos web app dashboard. Simply click the “Reports” tab and then click on the “KPI Report” tab. Enter your report specifications and you’re all set.

Plus, comparative analysis becomes a snap; with just a glance you can identify underperforming stores and locations experiencing success.

Budget Reports

Money is the lifeblood of business. No one is arguing against that. Management needs to know the intimate details of their budget.

One of the most important metrics when it comes to budgeting is capital spent compared to projected cost, and you can easily uncover that insight under the “Budget Report” tab in the Protos dashboard. Just as if you were running a KPI report, all you need to do is enter your parameters and press go.

Punch Reports

No one wants to pay for more service than they get. If you see something get rung up twice when you go through the grocery store checkout, chances are you’re not going to just let that go. The notion of overpaying is upsetting, no matter the context.

That’s why we’re making it easy for you to see whether or not you’re getting what you pay for when it comes to your guard force.

After all, if it happens in your stores, shouldn’t you be able to know about it? For far too long the guard industry has kept the important numbers hidden from their clients. We aim to change that by providing total data transparency and 100% data accuracy.

Under the budget report tab, you can see the exact details concerning guard check-in times, hours worked, and more. As is true of both other report types, you simply need to specify a date range, report period, and location(s), then get your report with the click of a button.

Incident Recap Reports

To say incidents are a major metric to track would be a huge understatement. For LP professionals in any industry vertical, understanding when, why, and how incidents are happening in stores across your portfolio is crucial for success.

As such, Protos has made incident reports simpler than ever. Clients receive real-time incident notifications, weekly incident roll-ups, and full reporting functionality in the web app.
